Fried Green Beans

Happy Mother's Day, gentle readers! I'm too lazy to upload the photos from this weekend (maybe tomorrow), but I just wanted to wish you all a wonderful Lord's Day in case I don't get time later.
My favorite husband planned a special Mother's Day date for us tonight and took me to PF Chang's in Indy. We had barely settled into our chairs when Gene's cell phone rang. Connor had decided to blindfold himself and walk around and had managed to run into a wall and split his lip! He was hysterical and wanted me to come home, so his loving father took the phone (before I ended up crying) and promised to bring him a toy. :) He was immediately healed--it's a miracle!
After dinner, we stopped by the mall, because he wisely discerned that a new Dooney & Bourke purse would be more popular than a bouquet of flowers this year. (He's a smart man, that Gene...)
We did a little shopping, sampled some Godiva truffles, went to Target (don't we always?) and ended up at Steak and Shake for brownie sundaes. I now weigh approximately 380 pounds, but I'm a happy hippo!
And now, the blogger is tired and she is off to bed. Blessings...

Jonathan let me pick out my Mother's day gift when we went shopping last weekend! I got an outfit and a new watch! Don't we have great men?! :)
Happy Mother's Day! I think you need to try for a girl though to make us even!!!

I'll take a purse picture this morning. He and Jonathan are smarter than we thought, huh? :)
