In a little while, we're off to rehearsal for the school program. Tonight, my little white boy is going to become an Indian for a little while. :)
Kent has been sick for two days and Connor's fighting quite a cold, which he appears to have given to me. Say a prayer for us today--we're all snuffly and whiney.
We're officially ready for this school year to be over. Connor's sick of program practices and Mommy is sick of fundraisers and everyone is sick of getting up EVERY morning. Yes, I know--halfway through the summer, I'll be wishing we were back in a routine, but I think we need a few weeks of disarray!
And now, I leave you with this tidbit of wisdom:
"Life is an occasion. Rise to it."

I'm ready for summer! I can sleep in until 8 a.m.! There is something nice about a routine, though. I'm going to have the kids work on a some school stuff anyway to keep their memory fresh. Vacation Station by Bob Jones or Summer Bridges from Barnes and Noble in case you're interested!
