The current theme here in the house on the hill seems to be one of frustration. Gene is having trouble getting into the appropriate Statistics class and it's his last prerequisite for his MHA program. He can't proceed into the program until he completes it. This is the same problem we had LAST semester and we're just..stymied by Statistics, I guess.
My biggest concern is that the setback may mean he'll need to take summer classes. If that happens, we won't be able to book any more VBS or camp Childrens' Services other than the one we have already agreed to.
He's on the waiting list for one of the classes and will find out today if another one (which has openings) would be acceptable for his degree program.
I'm not sure what's going on, but God clearly opened the door for Gene to go back to school and so I told Him this morning that I was going to do my best to trust Him to work it out. Would you help us pray?

Will do! You all were great to help us pray about Jonathan's job in December so now it's our turn to return the favor! Hope it all works out for you all! You would go into withdraw with just one VBS! You might have to do some "solo" Angie!!! :)
We'll remember this prayer request. After all, that's what Christian friends are for!
Good news! He was able to get into the other class and the schedule for it is even better than the first! Thank the Lord!
God is so good!
So glad to hear the class worked out! We understand those frustrations. As we landed in Atlanta after not having phone service for 10 days, David got a message from a Trinity professor about a stupid little forgotten reading report that may mean he'll get no credit for the entire class! He's gonna fight it, but I'm not anxious for him to be gone to Chicago any more than he already is.
I've thoroughly enjoyed catching up on all your holiday posts. Karissa has NOT enjoyed it. She is biting at the bit to practice violin, and I'm simply not in the mood. I'd rather read your blog. Guess I'd better go act like an adult.
