The lost camera cord has been found and I thought the relatives in Canada might enjoy a glimpse of our favorite 4 year old. Kent's choice of birthday celebration was a trip to Chuck E Cheese on Saturday and
tons of Lego. He's quite the little builder!
(Okay, okay, so he mostly takes them apart, but...)
Thanks to Tracie Peck, we had a great birthday cake (complete with Lego on top) for our Chuck E Cheese celebration. Kent was greatly amused by the opportunity to lick icing off the Lego pieces after I removed them...

But even more fun than the cake was the expression on his face when he got ready to blow out the candles! For a moment there, I was afraid he was going to
attack the cake...

And let us not forget our favorite 8 year old! After a warm evening at the awards banquet, and much silliness with friends, we are officially the parents of a third grader. Now if THAT doesn't make ya feel old...

To say that he was excited about his awards is a bit of an understatement! In this respect, I am
very proud of Connor and his attitude of gratitude. We've worked hard to instill a desire in him to do his very best and yet be happy for others who may do even better.
And now, since the summer craziness is about to begin, I am signing off to make song visuals and order supplies. Blessings, friends...
