It's official--my blog is a bore. The summer has been squirrelly with VBS prep and most of my blogging has gone to the private site I also maintain. I love to write, so I do find this more fun than Facebook by far, but I'm wondering if the time has come to put Davis Doodles out of everyone's misery.
I'm not making any drastic decisions until I get the VBS under control, but I am warning all 3 of my faithful readers: don't look for anything scintillating in the next few weeks...

Oh, don't go away completely! I know what you mean about writing, & sometimes I think about making my own private blog space. I too have noticed that not very many people comment anymore, but you can tell by the tracker that there are quite a few that check you out! I'm on Facebook, but not a big fan of it. I do this more for myself, than anyone else.
I love your writings! And I also realize that blog posts that amount to anything, take a lot of time. Sometime I'm short of this time of year & know you must be too. Sometimes this little sidetrack has to take second or third or fourth place!

Awww! Don't give it up completely girl! I agree it does take a lot of time and blogging seems to have seen its better days, but I still enjoy catching up on everyone's lives!

Yeah, don't quit! I like to read your blog also. :0) You have such a quirly ( woops meant quirky, but that word sounds neat!) sense of humor, and it's nice to read of any mishaps or mayhem in your life, because right now......my life is about as dull & uninteresting as a pile of rocks. If you've read my blog recently, it's all but dead and I have only 3 followers. How discouraging is that I ask?! Still.....I hate to shut it down due to unpopularity. I just wish I had more time to write.....
Honey, you think yours is a snoozer? You obviously haven't seen mine in a while. Well, it actually wouldn't matter when you've checked. It hasn't been updated in several months! I'm thinking about putting it out of it's misery as well, but haven't had the guts to do it yet!
Please do keep posting!! I've come to your site many times in need of a laugh and some perspective! I haven't been let down, either!!
I also vote "NO" Facebook is ok but not near as fun or intersting in my opinion. Not that it counts.
