...at the loss of a longtime family member. We remember when she joined our family more than 13 years ago, as a brand new baby. She was smallish, and rather pale, but very energetic. Over the years, she has contributed MUCH to our family...until her tragic passing this week.
Yes, friends--Meredith the Microwave has passed away. After many years of faithful service, we noticed her ailing last week. (Specifically, because she spent 10 minutes trying to warm some soup.) She was a wedding gift from my favorite in-laws, and a constant companion in the butter softening of cookie production. We're going to miss her. (Now, who wants to go shopping?!)
